John 4:39-42 Many Samaritans Believe

Verse 42 is just the coolest.

They said to the woman, "We no longer believe just because of what you said, now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Saviour of the world."

Like Jesus leading the woman into believing in her own personal way, these Samaritans too made their belief their own. It became their personal belief — which brings them into that personal relationship with Christ. That is who Christ is, he is so intimately interested with each of us individually that he wants a personal relationship with each of us!
